Here you will find assembly instructions for your Roost & Root products. All products come with printed instructions, but just in case you want to look ahead or need another copy for your reference…here they are!

Backyard Coop M2 Series Assembly Instructions
We designed the Backyard Coops to assemble quickly by people of ordinary skills with ordinary tools. A flat, level area is a very important requirement for these coops to assemble easily. All needed screw bits and fasteners are included in the assembly toolkit together with a printed copy of the most current instructions.

Round-Top Stand-Up Coop
We designed the Round-Top Stand-Up Chicken Coop to be easily assembled by two people of average skill in about four hours. All needed tools and fasteners are included in the toolkit together with a printed copy of the most current instructions. You provide a cordless drill, a ladder and some elbow grease. A small level is handy, but not required. A level app on your smartphone will work great!

Round-Top Walk-In Coop
We designed the Round-Top Walk-In Chicken Coop to be assembled by two people of average skill in 6-8 hours. A flat, level 10’x10′ (or larger) area is a very important requirement for the coop to assemble easily. All needed fasteners are included in the assembly toolkit together with a printed copy of the most current instructions. You will need a cordless drill, hammer, ladder and a measuring tape. We even send a level!

Round-Top Walk-In XL Coop
We designed the Round-Top Walk-In XL Chicken Coop to be assembled by two people of average skill in 6-8 hours. All needed fasteners are included in the assembly toolkit together with a printed copy of the most current instructions. You will need a cordless drill, hammer, ladder and a measuring tape. We even send a level! Special Note: The Round-Top Walk-In XL Coop instructions are an addendum that is combined with the Standard Walk-In Coop instructions. The instructions linked below are correct. Additionally, the Assembly Video linked below is for the standard Round-Top Walk-In Chicken Coop, but the procedures for the XL addition are similar to other aspects. Watching this video will give you an excellent overview of assembling the coop.

We designed the Heritage Series Coops to be assembled by people of ordinary skills with ordinary tools. The kit is very complete. A flat, level area is a very important requirement for these coops to assemble easily and a concrete perimeter footer is highly recommended. Slant-Roof Greenhouse
The Slant-Roof Greenhouse can be assembled in less than a day by 2 strong people of ordinary skill with a cordless drill, a hammer, a ladder and a measuring tape. Everything else you need is provided. A flat, level ~10’x12′ (or larger) area is a very important requirement for the greenhouse to assemble easily.
