Delivery:
When your shipment gets to the terminal closest to your location you will receive a phone call from the shipping company to set up an appointment for delivery.
Expect to receive (3) ~5’x5’ shipping crates. No one piece is more than 50lbs.
The freight company will unload the crate to an area accessible by a pallet jack. They will not un-palletize it or put it into place for you. It will take 1-2 people to carry the coop parts from offload point to the assembly location.
Assembly instructions are included inside the shipping crate in a large cardboard envelope. We’ve also included link to the instructions which includes some great information on site preparation in case you want to get started on that before you receive your coop.
Assembly:
Our SmartKits™ are designed to be easily assembled with little to no experience. A flat, level area is a very important requirement for these coops to assemble easily and a concrete perimeter footer is highly recommended. All needed screw bits and fasteners are included in the assembly toolkit.
